Characteristic pan-fried green tea • 80g

Our Ureshino Kamairicha belongs to the so called "tamaryokucha" type - also known as Guricha, this tea is not steamed. It has a multidimensional flavour: a hint of bitterness, deep flavours and an almond-like pleasant aftertaste. This tea is produced with a different method from other teas; instead of steaming, it is quickly baked. Then the tea leaves are rolled and will take the shape of a hooke, a curly form that will open up during brewing. Its caffeine content is the same as an average green tea. A tea to enjoy at any time of the day.

Useful information:
- Use soft water for preparing your gyokuro tea.
- After the first flush, you may want to use slightly hotter water. If you use higher temperature water for your tea, it will become more tart.
- The longer you infuse the leaves, the stronger tea you get.
- If you add a bit more water than usual, your tea will be lighter in flavour.

How to make
Tea: 5 g / 1.4 tsp
Water: 200 ml, 85 °C
Steeping time: 30 sec

Tip: 2 or 3 infusions can be also made
