Matcha Chiyo no Midori
Japanese Green Tea from Uji, Kyoto prefecture.
It is a delicious usucha (thin tea).
Matcha is a special green tea that is ground to powder with millstones. In the case of this Japanese tea the use of tea strainer is completely superfluous. You just have to whisk it with water, make it frothy and it can be ingested. Matcha powder isn't filtered so it contains even more vitamin than ordinary green tea.
Matcha is the most expensive traditional tea.
