Sencha Ujiyama
Japanese Green Tea from Uji, Kyoto prefecture.
Sencha is a general green tea that is perfect for everyday.
Ujiyama has bitter and fresh taste with a pleasant aftertaste.
Well fit to desserts as well.
How to make:
Tealeaves: 5 g / 2 teaspoon
Water: 200 ml, 80 °C
Steeping time: 1 min.
Tealeaves can be steeped three times.
Good to know:
- Make your tea with soft water!
- After the first steeping, use warmer water
- The hotter water, the more bitter tea
- The longer steeping time, the more concentrated flavor of tea
- The more water, the milder tea
